So I have seen this floating around a few of my favorite blogs ( thanks Lolo) lately and I love it. So today I am linking up with In Residence and Dearest Love.  Just follow the prompts.... What are you up to currently?

MAKING

Loving my crock pot right now and any chance to make some warm and cozy comfort food. Last night it was a household stand-by from Southern Living - "Baked" Potato Soup

"Baked" Potato Soup (Southern Living Slow Cooker Cookbook)

6 large russet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1/2 inch cubes (about 3 3/4 lbs)
1 large onion, chopped (about 1 1/2 cups)
3 (14oz) cans chicken broth with roasted garlic
1/4 cup butter
2 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 1/4 teaspoons pepper
1 cup whipping cream or half and half
1 cup (4 ounces) sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
3 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
1 (8 ounce) container sour cream (optional)
4 bacon slices cooked and crumbled
Shredded Cheddar cheese

Combine first 6 ingredients in a 5 quart slow cooker
Cover and cook on HIGH 4 hours or on LOW 8 hours or until potatoes are tender
Mash mixture until potatoes are coarsely chopped and soup is slightly thickened; stir in    cream, cheese and chives

Top with sour cream, if desired and sprinkle with bacon and Cheddar cheese.

LISTENING

98.9 NashIcon in Atlanta is officially on the all Christmas all the time format. This makes me happy.

WRAPPING

Minimalist is my jam. Craft paper, twine and the addition of chalk board paper and white paint pens this year.

WATCHING

Ok... I have a tiny huge obsession with James Franco. And he's hosting SNL this Saturday with also maybe obsessed with her ass Nicki Minaj. I am sure also Seth Rogan will also be making an appearance. I die.

ANTICIPATING

ACC Championship this Saturday night at 8:30 in Charlotte. Although I will not be attending this because ... unemployment..... my Noles will be taking on the Jackets, kicking ass and taking home the trophy. Get up for game day my Noles Nation!!!!! #GONOLES

  2. damn!! At first I thought you wrapped those presents and I was super jealous! I'm sure yours will be just as awesome though! We always wrap things in stupid paper like Justin Beiber or something equally obnoxious!
