I also love the "something new" each month and I may have to steal that idea. It is always great to get out and about and try new things and I need to push myself to do it more. Thanks for inspiration. Hope you have a great weekend!Kristie's Blue Jeanshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04717032046156076973noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3543567497932789308.post-43479656220653487732017-01-13T10:53:12.892-05:002017-01-13T10:53:12.892-05:00Doing something new every month is awesome!Doing something new every month is awesome!SMD @ lifeaccordingtostephhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09884611147965544589noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3543567497932789308.post-4959976946678471012017-01-13T10:04:03.798-05:002017-01-13T10:04:03.798-05:00The Clark Howard thing wouldn't work in my lif...The Clark Howard thing wouldn't work in my life...at least, not how it's laid out. The bulk of my purchases are always around the Holidays, smack-dab in the middle of summer, and around February. I could definitely do those number, I would just have to juggle them around a bit to fit into my life! <br />I sat down a couple weeks ago and budgeted all of our current debt vs all of our current income for the year. Totally tedious but it puts into real figures exactly what we should be able to save and when. It's worth the time to realize you could easily sock away more than you anticipated. The key is to take it out your paycheck right away, instead of the "wait and see how much is left at the end of the pay period" tactic. I learned that one the hard way. :) Hope you have a good weekend doll!Tia @ GoodGeneshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11679806176045451789noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3543567497932789308.post-36407466652644311522017-01-13T09:22:36.354-05:002017-01-13T09:22:36.354-05:00that's a great deal for tennis; i wish my gym ...that's a great deal for tennis; i wish my gym fees cost that much :(<br /><br />i'm in a spending freeze for sure; after the holidays i dont spend anything on non-essentials for jan/feb....and yesterday there was a HUGE online sale on boots that i've been eyeing since October but nope, didn't buy (but also because mine were already sold out LOL)Kathy@MoreCoffeeLessTalkyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11044005966979731361noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3543567497932789308.post-41551658905037044902017-01-13T01:04:44.844-05:002017-01-13T01:04:44.844-05:00For whatever reason, every time I've come back...For whatever reason, every time I've come back to Atlanta I end up at Atlantic Station. That brunch event sounds awesome!! And go you for the savings plan!!! That's something I need to work on this year. The yoga/beer thing sounds cool too.
