Yeah we cuss on them Mondays....

This is how we roll, at least this is how I roll. Mondays... not a fan, especially after DST robs me of a precious hour of my beauty sleep. Do be fooled, I still got plenty in though. Why is it that sleeping in on Sat. and Sun. mornings are my most enjoyable hours of sleep all week? My bed is never more cozy and comfortable, and my kids pretty much know better than to disturb me. Thank the lord that they are pretty self sufficient. My daughter had a little buddy spend the night who kept asking for food/breakfast on Sunday morning and I was all like... 

"Cereal, Pantry, Top Shelf, Chair, Ur Welcome now Goodbye". 

They managed just fine. 

We ate out of the pantry/freezer all weekend and I came up with some pretty interesting stuff like.... fried rice. Ok, so I am not the expert on this but I googled a recipe cause I figured how hard could it be. It was pretty good too and everyone ate it which is always a good indication. Here's the highlights. Definitely will make again especially with leftover rice, chicken, pork. 

I have decided that I am in love with all things hound dog. Olivia and I stopped at Petsmart yesterday so Winston could visit his old shelter family and they had this guy up for adoption. I died. I wanted to climb in the cage with him and play with his big floppy ears. No lie they were a foot long and felt like velvet. And that face.... but someone beat me to it. He was already spoken for.  Good thing too because I really don't need a giant slobbering bag of bones laying around and eating me out of house and home. I did just get divorced after all!

But could you just die with that face????

Speaking of faces I guess I'm going to stick with this, my one and only hound dog cause here he is helping me with the laundry. 

And did ya see The Walking Dead last night? Beth is gone and Daryl has hooked up with the bad guys. My son actually begged me to stop talking to the TV throughout the episode, he said it really annoys him... oops:)

Anyway that's about it for my exciting weekend! It all started and ended with this just the way I like it.
