WEARING
Pretty much anything from Buy Me Brunch. Watch their Instagram for discount codes! Got this one recently and I love it. Seriously they are super soft and they just have the best sayings. I have a graphic tee problem. Sorry. The best thing about not having a job to leave the house for is living in workout pants, shorts, tanks and tees. Fuck Yeah. I don't car what anyone says, cute workout stuff motivates me to work out.
SIPPING
Ok well I am not actually sipping on this yet but I ordered all of the stuff and I am getting ready to try making it. It's basically black coffee, MCT Oil and Grass Fed Butter or Ghee blended until foamy/frothy ... and you drink it. Sounds weird I know but it's a Paleo thing and it's supposed to help in weight loss when you are following a protein heavy diet. The MCT oil is actually medium chain triglycerides aka the fats with the most health benefits that provide the most usable energy. Over the last couple of months I find myself eating less which is not a bad thing but this is a way to keep your body in ketosis or fat burning state on a more even level between meals versus having dips because you are not eating which we all know kicks our bodies into storage mode. I ain't into fat storage right now. Will report back on this one.

WISHLISTING
Everything from the Lily for Target look book, just like everyone else I am sure. I don't go crazy with tons of Lily Pulitzer but I do love a piece or two for summer. The housewares and bar ware are killer... I want the wine charms and stoppers, the flask (of course), maybe some flip flops and a clutch for starters. The rompers, shorts, scarves, jewelry... oh who am I kidding I want all of it.
WRITING
I am always writing a whole lot of nothing in particular. I have an office in my home but I currently hate it so most of the time I am at the kitchen table when I am working, blogging, making lists, taking notes on phone calls, endlessly rewriting resumes, cover letters and thank you notes. I have a spiral notebook going at all times for pretty much any idea that pops into my head, otherwise I would never remember a thing.
EXPLORING
Options for inexpensive family vacays this summer like Yurting at Tugaloo State Park in GA. It's still roughing it but not as bad as tent camping. Basically Glamping at it's most basic level. You have walls, a roof, beds, fans and a bath house around the corner. I think the kids would love it as none of us are big on real tent camping. Oh and you are right on Lake Hartwell with your own dock too... not bad for $75 a night. With this view out my back door I could deal. In fact I would be floating in that 24/7.
i LOVE cute workout tanks as well but i don't love the price. why $32? WHY?? then with shipping...ain't nobody got time for those prices but damn, those are awesome shirts.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a big Lily Pultzer fan either but gimme all those things from the Target collection! lol
ReplyDeleteAlso, sign me up for that family vacation! That spot is insane! My husband would love that.
That looks like a great vacation spot to me!
ReplyDeleteI picked up KerryGold butter this week for bullet coffee.
I hate spending $32 on a long sleeve shirt, I like the tanks but no!
I need to know about that coffee when you try it! If it works I am all over it!
ReplyDeleteSo fun . . . all of it! They have the Kerry Gold butter at my Costco - fyi! And the yurts - you know I dig a random attraction - the kids would be all "seriously mom" but then they would thank me when they were like 30 - right? That's what I tell myself anyway! :-)
ReplyDeleteI want to go yurting that looks perfect!! I'm interested to hear your thoughts on the bulletproof coffee!
ReplyDeleteHa, I love that tank! And now I'm going to think that every time I eat guacamole (which is a lot).
ReplyDeleteHow do I not know about yurting? I enjoyed camping growing up, but I would probably like staying in something a little more stable instead... plus it has a fan! I'll definitely try it out!
ReplyDeleteThat tank is hilarious and I really need to check out that coffee as I eat less and less as well. That looks like a great spot for a family vacay!
