Weekending

Monday, September 14, 2015

Hey there!! It feels like Fall in Atlanta. I have my air off and my windows open and it is heavenly. It also feels like I didn't really do much this weekend but I actually packed a good bit in, which to me is the sign of a very good weekend! Football, shopping, food, golf, fun friends and a few drinks! The birthday celebrating continued and I think I am about officially done with that. I am tired! Friday night was pretty low key, out for  few beers and munchies with the neighbors and home early. Saturday was all day football action and running a few errands. FSU won Saturday in the early game and I got out for a little shopping... some new booties with my birthday coupon at DSW and a cute short sleeve graphic sweatshirt at Old Navy.
Saturday night a group of us went to TopGolf for some more birthday fun. If you don't have a TopGolf near you I am sorry because it is so much fun! It's basically a huge 3 level driving range where you hit balls, aim for targets and get points to compete against each other. It's like bowling only golf if that makes sense! All the bays have couches and high top tables and a server for all of your cocktail and food needs! It's not super cheap but definitely a fun alternative to the usual Saturday night! Can't wait to go back... bonus they have brunch... my current obsession!!!

This is what I ate... their signature app... Mushi aka Mexican sushi and it was unfortunately nothing special. Why do I get talked into these things by wait staff??? I ate half and passed it off to the man friend.

Sunday I was not in my tennis team line up, major disappointement. So instead, I grocery shopped meal prepped egg muffins, paleo crock pot meatballs, sauteed zucchini for the week. Watched more football and US Open men's finals in tennis. Another great weekend in the books!

Random snaps from the weekend and a few from the last week of nightly birthday celebrations:)

How was your weekend?

Linking up with Biana!

  3. That golf looks fun - like even if you don't want to do it, it's a cool place to hang out.

  5. That golf place sounds amazing. All the food and booze without having to move around the course? Or put or chip? Excellent! I've been missing golf lately, maybe I should do it before the weather turns since we don't have a fancy indoor place like this.

  6. I haven't been to top golf yet, but one just opened here so I will be soon! Bummer about the food because mexican and sushi are my two favorite things, so I would hope combining them would be awesome!
