I have come to the conclusion that weekend re-caps and such will always be a Tuesday thing for me going forward. Try as I might I just can't seem to get this shit done and ready to publish on Sunday night. Cause my weekends are so choc full of
Friday night the kiddoes and I just hung out at home and it was pretty low key. Football on Saturday morning comes early and no matter how you slice it we are always in a rush to get uniforms on, breakfast, hair did, bags/coolers packed. I wish just once my kids Dad would know what it's like to do everything I do. To be a Mom pretty much 24/7 and do err little thing for ur little chickens can wear you slap out!!! But good news... we made it and got it all done. Had some good fiends over for football and wine on Sat. afternoon to watch FSU kick the beans outta Boston College. We decided it would be a good day to re-introduce ourselves to our old friend Red Wine. She only comes around in the cooler months and now I remember why. She will bite you in the ass if you are not looking out... or laying down a good base before she comes a callin. We had a blast catching up though. I had one of my besties over, Bethany and her good friend Kelsey (who recently died of a heart attack and was brought back to life... NO SHIT... quite a story), my two daughters, Bethany's 2 daughters, my other bestie Heather and her daughter... and Mr. Winston, the only boy in the joint... the dog. My son, Crazy Wise Boy was extremely wise and hightailed it outta there with his Dad. Soo we drank and ate, I cooked and we watched football, trash talked our ex's a little and speculated on up and coming boy toys. We also made para cord bracelets, or Heather did. It was a total chick evening and here are the pictures to prove it. Oh and a few from Sunday my tennis/hangover recovery day. I drank a gallon of Gatorade and lost a 3 set tennis match... epic. I came home to find the dog escaped from the crate... again... ate my silver flip flops (last time it was the gold ones), shit in the dining room and chewed up my personal remote control from my bedroom TV. I think I need a dog whisperer!!!
Til Tuesday!!!
