I Got Lucky This Weekend...

Monday, May 5, 2014

First things first... No... sadly I did not get a little schnick schnack over the weekend when I said I got lucky. I wish, but hopefully soon, that's another post for another time. This weekend I correctly predicted which  fabulous hat Miss Sarah over at Venus Trapped In Mars would be sporting to the derby and I won the big prize she was giving away to the lucky guesser. Some mack Daddy ad space over on her blog... like the biggest one she offers and y'all know I firmly subscribe to the bigger is better school of thought... ba dum tssssss... so imagine how thrilled I was when I saw that IG post with Missy sporting hat number 6! I am not normally lucky and I never win shit so this is a real treat and I can't wait! Thanks Sarah!!!

Speaking of ad space it has been on my "to do" list for awhile to get some of my own up and running. And this weekend I did a little internetting and I finally got my new little page up there in pretty good shape with some Passionfruit Ads and a little Media Kit I have been working on for a hot minute. Side bar... Passionfruit is the shiznit, it was so easy! I've got some new things cooking in my tiny Polish brain that I hope will be turning into some nice bizness opps for me here on the blog so what better time than the present to try to get some additional sweet love from some of you loyal readers. I promise I will make it worth your while and promote the peons out of you if you would like to jump aboard the crazy train for a month. In fact, because I am indeed a giver... ahem... I am offering 10 spots free to get this party started. FREE, as in you don't pay for a little spot on my side bar for 30 days because well, I'm new at this so just be gentle and sign up for a free spot. The promo code if you like free shit is CrayCray (case sensitive). Just head up to my Sponsor & PR page and get yourself a spot. Don't be scurred.

In other happenings I drank myself silly on Friday night with my hood rat girlfriends and we had so much fun. It was my "Sip Happens" party and it was a hit. The easiest party I have ever hosted and I highly recommend doing it the way I did it this time. You can check out my Friday post here for the deetz.  The only thing I screwed up was I should have specified white or red... or at least refrained  from mixing and trying lots of different types of wine... by the glassful, myself. I was a little comatose on Saturday but it was worth it! We ended up with a good variety of wine and snacks. First off I have an eclectic bunch of wine glasses for casual get togethers, I like that they don't match. I also have some home made and some store bought wine charms. If you drink at my house on any sort of a regular basis you most likely have a wine charm with your name on it. Cause that's just how I roll, I live to make you feel special while you are getting hammered at my house. My favorite wine was the Sofia Coppola Rose... I can't figure out how to get the accent mark on that "e". The Mini Cannoli were also fabulous as was the goat cheese with fig from Costco. I love Costco!

I am sure I am forgetting something but the week is young and far be it from me to shoot my load on a Monday. Come back, we are just getting started here!
Happy Monday!
